At your cost-free telehealth appointment, we provide:

  • Pre-Abortion Evaluation

At your pre-abortion evaluation, we can discuss your health and medical history as it pertains to your pregnancy decision. We can provide referrals for a free ultrasound so you can determine how far along you are, if the pregnancy is viable, and what type of options are available to you.

  • Consultations on Your Options by Trimester

Learn more about how the abortion pill works, what in-clinic abortion procedures look like, answer questions about adoption, and share parenting resources. Take the time you need to explore all your options without pressure or judgment. We do not profit from any decision you make.

  • Referrals and Information

We provide referrals for STD testing and free ultrasounds. A sexually transmitted infection should be ruled out prior to an abortion to reduce your risk of infection or complications. An ultrasound should be performed to find out if the pregnancy is viable, if you are eligible for the abortion pill, and how much an abortion will cost. We do not provide or refer for terminations at New Beginnings.

Abortion Pill Info

Things to Note: A medication abortion (the abortion pill) is only an option if taken up to 70 days after your last menstrual period. The type and cost of surgical abortions depend on multiple factors, including how far along you are and if there are any pregnancy complications. An ultrasound is needed to determine the viability and length of pregnancy.

Why You Need an Ultrasound Before You Decide

Obstetric ultrasounds can help determine:

  • the approximate age of your pregnancy

  • if the pregnancy is viable

  • if there is a potentially life-threatening tubal pregnancy

  • if your pregnancy is developing under normal conditions

  • whether or not you are carrying a single fetus or multiples (depending on gestational age)

  • the cost of an abortion procedure

  • if someone is eligible for the abortion pill (medical abortion)

If you are considering abortion, an ultrasound is needed to determine how far along you are and what options are available to you.

We provide referrals for cost-free ultrasounds.
